When getting work done:
Do:
Know the location of your septic system components (tanks, soil treatment system).
Don’t:
Allow vehicles to drive over, or park on, any septic system components.
Drain downspouts, sump pumps, etc. into or near the septic system.
Alter site drainage features without consideration for impacts to your septic system.
